Leon Wilson’s, Breakthrough Trading, Metastock codes

I wander if there is somewhere Metastock code written in the book that I can just cut at paste.
Eventually I’ll get there, but so far all the codes I entered come back with error message.

This is not usual stuff for typing and I am pretty bad in typing anyway and worst of all there is no spellchecker for Metastock.

Some codes were in last educational letters, suppose they are same or similar to ones in the book.

Like with all things computing, there are many different ways to achieve the same end result, and especially so in MS.

I have looked at Leon's code, and although it is for the most part sound, I think there are many examples where he has taken a more "alternative" route to the objective.

A lot of the code is long winded. More judicious use of variables could make the code more simple, therfore less prone to error and more simple to debug. He frequently uses the Input() function to set horizontal lines, often to the detriment of being able to input another moving average period. His default values in very similar formulae change with little warning or notice, which can seem a little illogical.

I have nothing against Mr Wilson's ideas and congratulate him on his efforts, but I suggest that people look carefully at the code, and use it perhaps as a basis for change. The majority of his code form excellent templates for individuals to customize.

I think his BullCharts code might be a little more robust then the MS equivalents, due mainly to the limitations of the differing software.
